Drone Strike on Emergency Medical Services in Kherson

On the morning of April 17, around 07:40, a drone attack occurred in the Dnipro district of Kherson, hitting an ambulance and injuring a 65-year-old paramedic and a 61-year-old driver. Both suffered serious injuries from the explosion and shrapnel.

According to the regional administration, the drone strike resulted in the paramedic sustaining blast injuries and limb wounds, while the driver suffered injuries to the head and pelvis.
Both victims were hospitalized, and doctors provided them with necessary medical assistance. The ambulance sustained significant damage, with the front part nearly destroyed.
It is worth noting that on April 16, Russian forces shelled Kherson, resulting in one death and nine injuries, including a 15-year-old teenager. The enemy also damaged 20 apartment buildings, two private homes, a sports facility, and two supermarkets.
Upon arrival at the strike site, the head of the city military administration, Roman Mrochko, along with rescuers, came under artillery fire.
