Tragedy in Kherson: Drone Bombing Claims Volunteer Life

On Saturday in Kherson, a tragic event unfolded as Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone onto a volunteer vehicle in the Dnipro district. This resulted in the death of a 27-year-old man and injuries to two others.

According to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the incident occurred around 4:00 PM. The blasts inflicted fatal injuries on one of the victims.

My condolences go out to the family of the deceased. The other two injured, aged 30 and 49, sustained serious injuries and are currently hospitalized.

Roman Mrochkо, head of the Kherson Municipal State Administration, noted that the targeted vehicle belonged to the "Real" charity fund. He emphasized that this is not the first instance of losses among volunteers.

Earlier on April 12, Russian forces shelled a medical facility in the Kherson region, injuring two people. Additionally, in Bilozirya, an 86-year-old woman was killed when occupiers dropped explosives from a drone.
