Kyiv Under Attack: Fires Sparked by Night Strikes
On the night of April 12, Kyiv experienced active operations of air defense forces. A Russian attack caused fires in the Svyatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the city. Two individuals were injured.

Klitschko stated: "Air defense forces are operational in the capital. Please stay in shelters!"
Details: According to the mayor, a fire broke out in non-residential premises in the Svyatoshynskyi district, while a private house is burning in the Darnytskyi district.
Later, Klitschko reported two injuries in the Svyatoshynskyi district.
At 06:46, the State Emergency Service reported the consequences of the Russian attack in the Svyatoshynskyi district.

At another address – a fire in two warehouse buildings covering areas of 1000 and 150 sq. m with partial destruction on the premises of an industrial enterprise. Efforts to localize the fire are ongoing".
Updated: As of 07:00, the fires in the Svyatoshynskyi district have been localized, as reported by the State Emergency Service. Currently, work to eliminate the aftermath is underway.
