New Postal Tribute: Commemorative Stamp for Heroes
A ceremonial event was held in the capital of Ukraine to celebrate the release of a new postal stamp representing the 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade “Black Forest”, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Stamp “Black Forest” – Key Information
The event was attended by service members of the “Black Forest” brigade, representatives of “Ukrposhta”, public figures, business representatives, and philatelists.
“This stamp is not just about philately for us. It is another proof that our work is seen and valued. We operate quietly, but when artillery strikes precisely, each hit contains a part of our mission”, noted the servicemen of the brigade.
The stamp is limited to only 1340 sets, which include the stamp and an artistic envelope.
The stamp can be purchased on the “Ukrposhta” website or at postal service offices.
Special Cancellation of the Postal Set “Military Law Enforcement Service”
A special cancellation of the limited postal set “Military Law Enforcement Service” took place at the Main Post Office in Kyiv. The design of the set was created by Colonel Volodymyr Potapov.
The set includes a sheet of 28 stamps and an artistic envelope.
“Ukrposhta” previously continued the series “Ukrainian National Costume” and released a new postal set dedicated to the traditional clothing of the Kursk, Belgorod, and Kuban regions.
In addition to stamps depicting folk costumes, the postal set includes two “First Day” envelopes and a card titled “Overview Map of Ukrainian Lands”.
The company also started 2025 with the release of a new stamp titled “I’m Fine :)”, dedicated to the resilience of Ukrainians.
Earlier, “Ukrposhta” launched a new charity stamp titled “USYK. The World Loves the Strong”, dedicated to Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk.
