A new hub for children with autism has been established in Mykolaiv, providing free individual programs for those in need. Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych announced this via Telegram.
“We are excited to introduce the LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB — a center dedicated to supporting children with autism. Currently, there are only two such centers in Ukraine, one in Lviv and now ours in Mykolaiv. This is a place where children receive not only lessons but also care, attention, and belief in themselves,” he stated.
The center employs specialists including speech therapists, neuropsychologists, and physiotherapists. Creative workshops, as well as art and music classes, are also offered.
Senkevych emphasized that all services are free and tailored to individual needs. The center was made possible through the collaboration of Future for Ukraine, the Mykolaiv City Council, and partners from Nova Ukraine.
