Launch of a Special Postage Stamp Celebrating Equestrian Sports in Ukraine

On October 29, a ceremonial presentation and cancellation of the special postage stamp «Equestrian Sports of Ukraine» took place at Golompostamp. This stamp highlights the development of equestrian sports in Ukraine and serves as a charitable issue initiated by the All-Ukrainian Equestrian Federation in collaboration with Ukrposhta.
The event was attended by the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Olympic champion Vadym Hutsait. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the All-Ukrainian Equestrian Federation for their tireless efforts, dedication, and professionalism. The President of the NOC of Ukraine noted that initiatives like this charitable stamp are crucial contributions to supporting Ukrainian athletes, promoting sports, and preserving national traditions during these challenging times.
The stamp cancellation ceremony also featured honored guests: Federation President Andriy Milovanov, CEO of Ukrposhta Ihor Smilyansky, Olympic champion in equestrian sports Yuriy Kovshov, sports master Anna Dyachenko, head of the distance equestrian races coaching board Lesya Hordiyenko, and director of the Kyiv branch of the All-Ukrainian Equestrian Federation Serhiy Doroshenko. All of them participated in the ceremonial cancellation of the stamp.
This ceremony vividly demonstrated that government structures, sports organizations, and public figures continue to work in synergy to support and revive equestrian sports in Ukraine.
