On Ukraine's Independence Day, soldiers from the 47th separate mechanized brigade "Magura" will once again climb the summit of Magura Mountain in the Carpathians to honor the memory of their fallen brothers.
According to Ukrinform, this was announced on the brigade's official Facebook page.
"Climbing Magura — on Independence Day we establish a new tradition for the 47th Brigade", the post states.
The brigade noted that "on June 28, 2025, the soldiers of the 47th Brigade initiated this long-awaited tradition — climbing Magura Mountain in the Carpathians".
On August 23, Ukraine's Flag Day, the brigade's YouTube channel premiered the documentary film "Magura. The First Ascent".
"This symbolizes our path to victory", emphasized the officer responsible for national-patriotic training of the 47th Brigade, known by the call sign "Yar".
He added: "We march today to remember our fallen brothers. May the hearts of our friends beat in unison with ours".
