Youth Hub in Kharkiv: New Opportunities for Development
In Kharkiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with students and schoolchildren at the youth center «Litera», located at the regional children's library.
This center offers lectures, workshops, and training sessions. Schoolchildren can prepare for NMT for free, play board games, and watch movies. The space is designed for youth to continue developing and engaging in face-to-face communication, despite the war.
Additionally, the center features a recording room for podcast creation. The President participated as a guest in one of the episodes of the podcast «Challenges of Youth in Kharkiv Region».
«Since the beginning of the war, it was crucial not to lose the unity of our state. I believe we preserved Ukraine and our independence precisely because of this», – said Volodymyr Zelensky.
Along with the podcast hosts – Vira Bondar, Ivan Kurilo, and Maksym Nahlyi – the President discussed the impact of the full-scale Russian invasion on youth, the restoration of Kharkiv after the war, and the values of Ukrainian youth.
«Our warriors defend Kharkiv region and all of Ukraine to restore life in our country – a full life. Kharkiv has always been a city of youth, and I have always been a hundred percent confident in Kharkiv. It is strong and self-assured», – emphasized the President.
Moreover, the library houses an ESTEAM laboratory, where youth can gain new skills using a heat press, laser cutter, VR goggles, and 3D printer.
