On April 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky handed a list of 400 Ukrainian children abducted by Russia to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

We must return all of them. Just like the thousands of prisoners, both military and civilians, who have been held in Russian prisons under inhumane conditions for years. South Africa is a co-leader in the coalition for the return of Ukrainian children. I hope President Ramaphosa will assist us in this matter."
