New Documentary Film “Tommy Gun” About the War in Ukraine
“Gino”, who served in the International Legion GUR since 2022 and participated in several operations, was severely wounded near Kupyansk. His life was saved by his comrade Thomas Harris (“Tommy Gun”), after whom the film is named. After rehabilitation, Janette returned to film the war through the eyes of those who experienced it.
The film has already received recognition at international film festivals. As the organizers note, it serves as a “powerful voice of truth” and a step toward uniting the world against Russian aggression.
Following the screening, there will be an online Q&A session with the director and the father of the fallen Thomas Harris.
The event is organized by the R. T. Weatherman Foundation as part of the FOR FREEDOM project, which also includes an exhibition about foreign volunteers at the “Motherland” monument until the end of May. Admission to the premiere is free.
