To rent a one-bedroom apartment in Kyiv, a sales consultant spends 76% of their income, while a driver spends 52%.
This information is provided by a study conducted by LUN in collaboration with Work.ua.
If a driver wishes to rent a two-bedroom apartment in Kyiv, it will cost them over 72% of their monthly salary, whereas for a sales consultant, this figure exceeds 105%.
A driver also cannot afford to rent a three-bedroom apartment in the capital, as the average rental cost accounts for 123% of their salary.
A cleaner in Kyiv cannot afford to rent even a one-bedroom apartment, as their average salary is only 112% of the rental cost.
In Lviv, renting a one-bedroom apartment is even more expensive for a sales consultant – 83% of their salary. In Odesa, the situation is significantly better for this profession – only 41% of their salary is needed to rent a one-bedroom apartment.
