The Importance of Frontline Achievements for Ukraine's Diplomacy

During his visit to Kupiansk, President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the critical need for frontline successes to bolster Ukraine's diplomatic efforts. He shared this message on Facebook.
«Today we are at the Kupiansk front, where our soldiers are achieving remarkable results for Ukraine. There has been much talk about Kupiansk – and now we see the outcomes. I had the opportunity to greet our troops. Thank you to every unit, to all who are fighting here, to everyone who is defeating the occupier», - Zelensky remarked.
He highlighted that achieving results on the battlefield is vital for diplomacy. «This works in such a way: our strong positions domestically translate into strong positions in discussions about ending the war», - he added.
In his address, he also congratulated the soldiers on the Day of the Ground Forces, celebrated on December 12.
