Ukrzaliznytsia announced that within the first hour of launching the '3000 km Across Ukraine' initiative, over 30,000 Ukrainians took advantage of the offer. This was reported by the company’s press service.
'The first thousand tickets from frontline regions have already sold out — the highest demand was for routes from Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv,' the representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia stated.
Recall that the program '3000 km Across Ukraine' has started in the country. In December, the initiative will operate in a test mode for trains to all frontline areas. The program allows for 3000 km of travel during off-peak times when there are free seats available. These will be offered by Ukrzaliznytsia in sleeper, coupe, regional trains, and 2nd class Intercity. You can check which trains have tickets available in the first phase of the program here.
