Enhancing Aviation: Support from the 'Come Back Alive' Fund

The 'Come Back Alive' Fund has delivered three state-of-the-art meteorological complexes to significantly enhance the effectiveness of the Mirage 2000 and F-16 fighter jets.
Additionally, the fund provided minibuses for aviation technicians to ensure proper aircraft maintenance.
These vehicles are essential for transporting technical teams, equipment, and preparing fighters for combat missions.
The meteorological systems cost 22 million UAH.
These mobile systems can be rapidly deployed at any airfield and allow for continuous analysis of various meteorological data: cloud height, visibility, precipitation intensity, wind speed and direction, humidity, and air temperature.
«Have you ever heard the term “non-flyable weather”? It does exist, but fighters still need to carry out missions and return safely,» the fund emphasizes.
Without modern meteorological stations, the risk of aircraft loss due to icing increases.
«Your contributions have enhanced the safety of F-16 and Mirage 2000 fighters, reduced their preparation time for takeoff, and ensured operational technical maintenance even in emergency landing situations,» the fund adds.
In July, the Air Forces received mobile complexes for pre-flight preparation of F-16 fighters outside of airbases.
Currently, F-16s are serviced only at airfields, complicating aircraft security, as they need to be transported for inspection, armament, and checks.
The new mobile complexes will be able to reach any location where the aircraft lands, allowing for more effective protection of fighters and faster preparation for missions.
