Cybercriminals Target Ukrainians with Fake Emails
26 November 2025 16:03
Cybercriminals are once again sending fake emails to Ukrainians regarding alleged debts to "Nova Poshta". This was reported by the company's press service.
"These emails have no relation to "Nova Poshta" or any other company in the NOVA group", the N.P. emphasized.
It is noted that fraudsters copy the company's logo, alter the sender's address, and pressure individuals with fictitious debts to force them to open attachments or click on links.
The company urged everyone to follow simple safety rules:
- Check the sender's address. Emails from "Nova Poshta" only come from official domains. Pay attention to suspicious changes or misspellings.
- Do not open emails from unknown senders and do not click on links.
- If you have opened a suspicious attachment or clicked on a dubious link, it is advisable to change your passwords as soon as possible and check for other active sessions. If you notice any suspicious activity, terminate all unknown sessions via your account security settings.
- Enable two-factor authentication for your email, messengers, banking, and other important accounts – this significantly enhances protection against unauthorized access.
- If you receive such an email – move it to spam and delete it. This will help reduce the risk of repeat mailing and protect other users.
"The cybersecurity division of Nova Poshta is already working to stop this phishing campaign and is cooperating with relevant agencies and providers to limit the fraudsters' activities", the statement said.
