AI Defense Technologies Tested in Ukraine
The Danish defense company Terma A/S has tested its innovative solutions in Ukraine, utilizing artificial intelligence. The trials were conducted as part of the Test in Ukraine platform, as reported by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation.
"We tested solutions for detecting hostile drones from Terma A/S, the largest defense company in Denmark, which produces over 80 components for F-35 aircraft. Engineers are currently integrating this technology with the Ukrainian interceptor 'Horska' from Odd Systems, aiming to identify Russian targets at even greater distances," he stated.
According to the official, the Brave1 cluster facilitated the testing and provided feedback from military personnel. Mykhailo Fedorov also released a video where a lead engineer from Terma A/S discusses the testing in Ukraine.
"This access to the right type of data and feedback is absolutely unique. We want to help Ukraine, but we also want to learn. Therefore, such meetings, where individuals with direct military experience come and share what is not working, are vital for us," explained the engineer.
Additionally, Mykhailo Fedorov mentioned that the next phase of testing is planned after considering military feedback.
Recall that Ukraine introduced the Brave1 platform for testing foreign defense technologies in July 2025. Manufacturers can test products on-site, allowing for real-time adjustments, or rely on the cluster where specialists will conduct the testing and provide partners with a report of the results.
