The Ukrainian-Polish border is currently experiencing harsh winter conditions. Along with the snow, thick fog is making conditions more challenging. Tourists are advised to stick to marked routes. This was reported by the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.
They shared photos of the border area in the Lviv region, which is under the jurisdiction of the "Smilnytsia" and "Syanky" sections.
"The temperature here has significantly dropped, and thick fog occasionally blankets the area.
Therefore, we urge visitors to be extremely cautious, stay on officially marked routes, and abide by border regulations," the post states.
According to mountain rescuers from Prykarpattia, Mount Pip Ivan is also under cloudy and snowy conditions. The air temperature reaches -2°C.
It is worth noting that the first snow on Mount Pip Ivan fell on Independence Day, August 24. By the end of October, snowdrifts in some areas reached up to 80 centimeters.
