New Aid Package for Ukrainian Special Forces
Six active action units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have received a new military aid package from an anonymous benefactor from the Netherlands. This was reported on Facebook.
The package includes over 700 Hatsan MKA1919 and MAVKA MKA1919 shotguns, 130 Holosun Enclosed HS512C-RD and Holosun Paralow HS403B collimator sights that function independently of external lighting and weather conditions, as well as 20,000 rounds of ammunition.
The commander of the “Artan” unit with the call sign “Titan” noted that the delivered shotguns are effective tools against low-flying enemy UAVs.
“This weapon has become an effective means of combating aerial threats, especially in close combat. Even though the benefactor's name remains undisclosed, we are sincerely grateful for this gesture of support. In times of full-scale war against Russian aggression, any targeted assistance is a sign of solidarity,” emphasized Titan.
The aid has already been sent to the fighters of the special units of the GUR, including “Artan”, “Arei”, KRAKEN, “Shamanbat”, the International Legion, and the “Vikings” group.
The total value of the assistance provided to the intelligence officers amounts to 350 thousand euros.
The transfer of equipment took place with the assistance of the charity organization “Collective Assistance and Logistics” and the international fund Ukraine Aid Operations. The supply was carried out through the military trading platform ORKOV.NET.
