New Winter Support Program Launched
A new state initiative called "Winter Support" has been launched, allowing all citizens of Ukraine who are present in the country to apply for a one-time financial aid of 1000 UAH. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko in her Telegram channel.
"We are launching the new program 'Winter Support' — a set of opportunities and services to assist Ukrainians during the winter period," she stated.
From November 15, citizens can submit applications through the "Diia" mobile app, Svyrydenko reminds.
"After submitting your application, you will receive confirmation of its processing and the payment order. The funds will be credited to the 'National Cashback' card. Applications can be submitted until December 24, 2025," the message notes.
Funds can be spent on utility payments, medications, food, books, as well as charitable contributions or postal services.
They must be used by June 30, 2026.
Starting November 18, funds can be received via "Ukrposhta", Svyrydenko mentions. Pensioners and beneficiaries of social payments will automatically receive 1000 UAH on the special account where their pensions or benefits are deposited.
The funds can be used until December 25 for purchasing Ukrainian-made goods sold by JSC "Ukrposhta", as well as for paying for services provided through Ukrposhta branches, including postal services, utility payments, and donations to the Armed Forces.
"This initiative is part of a comprehensive package of measures being implemented by the Government on the president's order to support people during the challenging winter period amid the ongoing war," Svyrydenko emphasizes.
