Essential Advice for Kyiv Residents During Challenging Times
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has urged city residents to stock up on water, prepare a first aid kit, and gather food supplies, as well as charge their electronic devices. He shared this message on Telegram.
"The situation is tough. It's important to speak the truth rather than fall into complacency. The enemy does not stop. Forecasts indicate a possible new attack in the coming days," Klitschko emphasized.
He called on Kyiv residents to focus and act pragmatically, including stocking up on water, preparing a first aid kit, warm clothing, food items, charging portable devices, and not ignoring alarm signals.
According to him, Kyiv experienced one of the most severe attacks last night. All services are engaged in mitigating the aftermath.
Energy workers have already restored electricity to over 423,000 consumers. Efforts to restore power are ongoing to ensure that all others receive it as soon as possible.
"The water supply system has been restored and is functioning normally. However, in some buildings where electricity is still out, there may be no cold water on upper floors due to non-operational booster pumps," the mayor noted.
He also highlighted that all city services are operating around the clock to ensure the stable functioning of the city's life support systems.
