New International Train Service from Kyiv to Bucharest

Train No. 99/100 on the Kyiv – Bucharest route has successfully completed its inaugural journey, carrying 100 travelers. This was announced by Oleksii Kuleba, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, via Telegram.
“Despite the ongoing attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, Ukrzaliznytsia trains continue to operate on schedule. Train No. 99/100 Kyiv - Bucharest has embarked on its first journey with its inaugural group of passengers,” the statement said.
Kuleba also highlighted that the new service will operate daily through Vinnytsia, Zhmerinka, and Mohyliv-Podilskyi. Border control will take place in the towns of Velchytsia and Ungheni. The train will arrive at Romania's main station, Gara de Nord.
From Kyiv, the train departs from the central station at 06:30 and arrives in Bucharest at 06:47 the following day.
In the return direction, it leaves Gara de Nord at 19:10, arriving back in Kyiv at 19:34 the next day.
In just two days since ticket sales began, over 300 tickets for the new international train No. 99/100 Kyiv – Bucharest have been sold.
