Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk highlighted that the Territorial Defense is a symbol of Ukrainians’ readiness to defend their land at all times and everywhere.
“Territorial Defense is a symbol of the readiness of Ukrainians to defend their land at all times. Since the first days of the Russian invasion, thousands of men and women within the Territorial Defense Forces have defended Ukrainian cities and villages, stopping the enemy where they attempted to break through, protecting critical infrastructure, and shielding people from attacks and sabotage,” noted Stefanchuk.
“Thank you to all who serve in the Territorial Defense. Your determination and readiness to defend your homeland are the strength that makes Ukraine unyielding. We also honor the memory of fallen soldiers. Today and every day, during the national moment of silence, Ukraine bows its head in memory of everyone who gave their life for freedom,” emphasized Stefanchuk.
