New Post has issued a warning that messages allegedly sent from its name are completely unrelated to the company and are phishing attempts.

It has been noted that customers have started receiving SMS from unknown numbers stating: "Your package has been delayed due to an incorrect index." The message includes a dangerous link supposedly for confirming the address, but in reality, it is meant to collect personal and banking information.
"Do not click on the link in the SMS and do not share your personal data. Delete the message and inform your loved ones, especially elderly people who may not suspect a scam," the company emphasized.
