New Memorial for Ukrainian Tankers Unveiled in Kyiv

A new memorial honoring Ukrainian tankers has been unveiled in Kyiv, at the Alley of Defenders near the Arch of Freedom.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.
«The memorial features the imprint of a tank that breaks through enemy defenses. The base of the plaque is made of dark-toned brass with engraving filled with black paint,» the statement reads.
This is the eleventh plaque on the Alley, dedicated to those without whom some military operations would have been impossible.
Attendees included: Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevhen Moysiuk, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov, Acting Commander of Training - Deputy Commander of the Land Forces Leonid Khoda, and other representatives from the Ukrainian military, as well as local authorities.
