Living Flag of Ukraine on Baba Rod Mountain
On Baba Rod Mountain in Lviv, border guards from the 7th Carpathian Detachment held a symbolic event, creating a living flag of Ukraine.
This was reported by the 7th Carpathian Detachment on their Facebook page.
“On Baba Rod Mountain, border guards from the 7th detachment performed a symbolic act by forming a living flag of Ukraine. Vibrant clouds of blue and yellow smoke rose into the sky, creating a powerful visual symbol of unity and resilience,” the post reads.
Participants of the event stood in the formation of the flag, emphasizing that the blue and yellow banner is not only a state symbol but also a living history and spirit of Ukrainians that unites generations.
The smoke rising into the sky became a representation of indomitable will.
“Our flag is a symbol of freedom, unity, and resilience. The border guards are the first line of its defense,” noted Colonel Serhiy Shapoval, Deputy Head of the 7th Detachment for moral and psychological support.
The event was also attended by the wife of Hero of Ukraine Roman Gakh, who held the line in Luhansk for six hours and gave his life for Ukraine. She lit blue and yellow smoke grenades, symbolically passing the flame of memory from the fallen to those who continue the fight.
