The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, announced his meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Matviy Bidny, and motorsport representative Ivan Zubchuk. They discussed the potential for developing motorsports in the region.
Among the key objectives is the implementation of a racetrack construction project that will serve as a venue for training, competitions, and large-scale events. According to Kalashnyk, this will provide a safe alternative to street “night races” that threaten the safety of residents and disturb public order.
“Our goal is to ensure civilized conditions for motorsport activities. Kyiv region has the potential to become a leader in developing this infrastructure,” he stated.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration emphasizes that they plan to move from idea to implementation in the near future.
