New AI-Driven Drone for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Brave1 team in collaboration with the Third Assault Brigade has developed an innovative drone utilizing artificial intelligence technologies. This drone is capable of striking targets from over 50 km away, as reported by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
It has been noted that many Ukrainian defense innovations are born directly on the battlefield, stemming from the ideas of military engineers. One such example is a drone named in honor of a fallen comrade of the developers.
The drone, designed by engineers from the Third Assault Brigade in partnership with Omnitech, has gained new capabilities thanks to Brave1's assistance in adapting it for military use.
Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that this drone surpasses foreign models in many key metrics and can autonomously navigate the terrain using artificial intelligence.
The primary role of the drone is to ensure reliable communication for strike UAVs operating deep behind enemy lines. This technology allows Ukrainian drones to appear in locations where they are least expected. The drone is already being used to destroy enemy air defense systems and other strategic targets.
Additionally, recently, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law that increases security and defense expenditures by 412 billion UAH, with 216 billion UAH allocated for the procurement and production of weapons and drones.
