Earlier today, a suspicious object resembling an explosive was found at a playground in the Svyatoshyn district of Kyiv. Passersby notified the police about the discovery at around 10:30 AM. Officers quickly arrived on the scene and restricted public access to ensure safety.
Explosive ordnance specialists examined the object using X-ray technology and determined it to be a model of an anti-personnel mine produced by a 3D printer. Importantly, it contained no explosives. The police have taken the item for further investigation to ascertain how it came to be there.
Kyiv police thank citizens for their vigilance and once again emphasize the importance of immediately reporting any suspicious or unknown items that may pose a danger by calling 102.
