Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with renowned boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk, during which they discussed strengthening Ukraine's position in the United States.
This information was shared by Zelensky on his Telegram channel.
According to the president, for Ukraine's voice to be impactful on the international stage, it is vital for legends of Ukraine, known worldwide, to join the efforts of politicians and diplomats.
"Oleksandr Usyk is one of those symbols. We talked about how to enhance our stance, especially in the USA, how to remind the world of Russia's crimes, and about the daily challenges faced by the Ukrainian people, showcasing the courage demonstrated for over 1256 days of war," Zelensky noted.
Additionally, Zelensky and Usyk discussed promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth and supporting children who are actively engaged in sports.
