During July, the mine clearance units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine cleared 5,136 hectares of territory liberated from Russian forces.
This information was shared by the Main Department of Mine Action, Civil Protection, and Environmental Safety via Telegram.
Specifically, throughout the month, 4,850.46 hectares of agricultural land, 10.06 kilometers of roads, 0.6 kilometers of power lines, and 30.65 kilometers of railway tracks were cleared.
Experts identified and eliminated 3,546 explosive items (with a total of 452,160 since the onset of Russia's invasion).
The department emphasized that various teams are involved in mine clearance, including units from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, explosives specialists from the National Police, and pyrotechnic teams from the State Emergency Service.
