New Regulations for Ammunition Production and Supply in Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has enacted new regulations governing the production and supply of ammunition for the Armed Forces. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
According to the recent decree adopted on July 16, 2025, a new order for the production and supply of explosives and ammunition is established. This decision was made at a Cabinet meeting.
The document outlines the procedures and mechanisms for the production and supply of ammunition and also introduces amendments to existing regulations to align with the new rules.
According to the decree, companies that already have the status of ammunition producers will continue their activities, ensuring the continuity of production processes.
Main provisions of the new order include:
- All previously issued licenses for storing military explosives remain valid.
- Explosives used for manufacturing ammunition are now classified as military explosives, simplifying their circulation.
- The government has removed administrative barriers for manufacturers, enabling quicker production ramp-up.
