Restrictions on Heavy Vehicles in Kyiv Due to Heat

In Kyiv, there will be temporary restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles for several days due to the extreme heat conditions.

This was announced by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The restrictions will be in effect from July 25 to 28 to protect road surfaces. Vehicles with a total weight exceeding 24 tons and axle loads over 7 tons will be prohibited from operating.

Trucks are banned from moving when air temperatures reach 28° or higher, as stated by the patrol police.

«The duration of the restrictions will be determined based on the temperature conditions», — the statement from the city administration says.
