Innovative Procurement Risk Management System in Ukrainian Ports
A new initiative has been launched in Ukraine aimed at improving procurement management in seaports. The Administration of Seaports of Ukraine (AMPU) has introduced a system that allows for effective risk monitoring.
According to a statement on the official AMPU website, this system provides automated analysis of tenders using risk indicators, filters, and control parameters.
“This tool will help identify potential violations at early stages, before contracts are signed or issues arise,” the report emphasizes.
AMPU highlights that the new system represents another step towards reducing corruption risks and enhancing the transparency of public funds usage.
“With the risk management system, we can foresee weak points before they become problems,” officials from the administration add.
This initiative has been made possible through collaboration with the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), which actively supports anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine.
AMPU also notes that all procurements are conducted via the electronic platform Prozorro, in accordance with national legislation, and the new risk management system will serve as an essential element of control and monitoring.
