Collaboration Between Odd Systems and Terma Group in Drone Technology
The Ukrainian company Odd Systems has announced a new strategic partnership with the Danish company Terma Group to create an affordable drone interceptor utilizing artificial intelligence technologies.
The press release emphasizes that the main challenge faced by drone interceptors is the integration of detection, tracking, and neutralizing hostile UAVs using autonomous systems.
The types of enemy drones that need to be countered vary widely: from FPV drones and small tactical copters like Mavic to larger fixed-wing UAVs such as Zala and strike drones like Shahed.
"Terma and Odd Systems will combine their technologies, developing comprehensive solutions to combat these and other aerial threats," said Odd Systems.
Odd Systems is a defense technology company headquartered in Kyiv, specializing in the production of thermal cameras and FPV drones.
The company supplies the FPV interceptor platform Horskaya-12, as well as strike FPV platforms "Stus-7" and "Lupinis-10". They also develop thermal cameras for FPV drones Kurbas-256 and Kurbas-640.
Terma A/S is the largest Danish manufacturer in the defense and aerospace sector, offering both civil and military solutions for security purposes. The company also supplies components for the F-35 aircraft.
Recently, the head of the Defense Procurement Agency, Arsen Zhumadilov, announced that the agency has contracted for thousands of drone interceptors.
