This will enable individuals with visual impairments to navigate more easily and access services at the beaches.
The municipal enterprise “Pleso” is actively working on creating a barrier-free environment at Kyiv's beaches, aiming to make them enjoyable for everyone.
This initiative is part of broader efforts to improve urban infrastructure and create a welcoming space for all, as stated by representatives of “Pleso.”
The goal is to ensure that every resident and visitor can safely and comfortably enjoy the waterside, regardless of their physical abilities.
As part of this work, “Pleso” is implementing new solutions that have not been used before. Notably, Braille signage will be installed for the first time in public restrooms and medical points.
According to “Pleso,” this is a significant step toward enhancing information accessibility for individuals with visual impairments, allowing them to navigate the beaches more easily and access necessary services.
