Water quality meets the standards at 9 beaches in the capital.
Laboratories from the territorial disease control and prevention centers conduct regular monitoring of water quality at recreational water sites used for swimming.
According to the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, as of July 4, the water quality in Kyiv meets standards at the following beaches:
«Prydniprovska Slobidka» and «Central» on the Dnipro River,
in the Dnipro district at the beaches «Venice», «Rainbow», «Children's», «Golden», «Youth» on the Dnipro River and «Telbin»;
in the Obolon district — «Pushcha-Vodytsia» on lines 5-7.
The Kyiv City Center for Disease Control and Prevention also released a list of beaches where the water quality meets or does not meet the standards.
At the same time, the beach season in Kyiv has not been officially opened yet.
