The Danish government has decided to fund the production of Ukrainian drones within its borders. This initiative is part of the "Collaborate with Ukraine" program. The letter of intent was signed by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and his Danish counterpart Troels Lund Poulsen.
Denmark has allocated over $47 million for the establishment of a new factory. All products manufactured will be supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Funding for the project will come from partner contributions.
"This is a significant step that strengthens our defense capabilities, enhances supply chains, and opens new opportunities for technological collaboration," emphasized Rustem Umerov.
The "Collaborate with Ukraine" initiative aims to develop Ukrainian weapon manufacturing in partner countries. New facilities will be financed by foreign investments and will cater exclusively to the needs of the Ukrainian defense.
The United Kingdom has also joined this initiative, committing to fund the production of Ukrainian drones for three years.
