Issues with Fare Payment in Kyiv's Public Transport

Experts are currently working on resolving the issue.

On Thursday, June 19, a technical failure occurred in the fare payment system of the surface public transport in the capital. Due to the malfunction, QR-tickets may not function properly. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

At the moment, alternative payment methods for public transport include:

transport and digital cards;

credit cards;

gadgets with NFC linked to a bank card.

It is noted that while restoration work is ongoing, inspectors from Kyivpastrans will not penalize passengers attempting to use QR-tickets. Additional information about the restoration of the QR-ticket payment system will be provided later.
