On June 17, the Parliament approved a new bill aimed at creating an electronic registry for military personnel.
"This step is crucial for implementing a modern system for keeping records and providing services to the military.
The registry is a digital database that will allow for faster and more accurate tracking of personnel data; automatic generation of analytics on reserves; reducing bureaucracy and human error," stated Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
A key innovation will be the Military ID, a digital identifier that will facilitate data exchange between registries without disclosing personal information.
According to Umerov, in the future, military personnel will be able to access social services, benefits, and bonuses online, including through the Army+ app.
