New Sanctions Against Russian Entities and Citizens
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced new sanctions imposed by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine against Russian companies and individuals.
This information is reported on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
It is noted that the NSDC decision made on June 10, 2025, pertains to "The application and amendment of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)".
The Council supported the proposals from the Security Service of Ukraine regarding the imposition of special economic and other restrictive measures.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine have been instructed, along with the National Bank of Ukraine and the State Awards and Heraldry Commission, to ensure the implementation and monitoring of these sanctions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is tasked with informing relevant authorities of the European Union, the United States, and other countries about the sanctions and raising the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures.
Specifically, the list includes nine educational institutions and public organizations, such as "Melitopol State University" and the "International Children's Center 'Artek'".
This time, sanctions have been imposed against 48 individuals, including Russian blogger Roman Alyokhin, the head of a volunteer movement supporting the Russian army.
Some of the individuals under sanctions are known to support and implement Putin's policy on the deportation of Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories.
