Ukrzaliznytsia Orders 95 New Coaches from Kryukiv Wagon Factory

Ukrzaliznytsia has finalized a deal to acquire 95 new coaches from the Kryukiv Wagon Factory, amounting to more than 5 billion UAH.

On June 6, Ukrzaliznytsia signed a contract for the delivery of 95 sleeping coaches worth 4.475 billion UAH excluding VAT. The total contract value, including VAT, is 5.37 billion UAH.

According to the terms, the company will receive 88 coaches of the KUH type (sleeping compartments with a conductor's room) and 7 coaches of the KUHI type, designed for transporting persons with disabilities and including a train supervisor's compartment.

The price of one KUH coach is 46.895 million UAH excluding VAT (56.27 million UAH including VAT), while the KUHI type costs 49.8 million UAH excluding VAT (59.76 million UAH including VAT).
