There has been a disruption in the payment system of the capital's metro – contactless bank card payments at the turnstiles are currently unavailable.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
The Kyiv metro's bank card payment system is temporarily out of order due to a technical issue with the "Oschadbank" system.
KCSA officials stated that bank specialists are already working on resolving the issue. The timeline for when the terminals will be back online is currently unspecified.
Passengers can pay for their metro ride using three methods:
transport card;
QR code via the "Kyiv Digital" app;
paper QR ticket.
Further announcements regarding the restoration of contactless bank card payments in the metro will be made.
