Tuition Compensation for Children of Defenders in 2024/2025
For the 2024/2025 academic year, the government will fully cover the tuition fees for the children of military personnel.
This was reported by the press service of the "Diia" platform.
"The first 1,000 certificates are already on their way to this year's bachelor's and master's graduates. Look out for notifications in "Diia"", the message states.
If you have received a notification, you need to:
Open "Diia" → verify your data in the certificate → confirm your consent with Diia.Signature within 20 days → then you will receive a notification about the result.
The funds from the government will be sent directly to your educational institution, which will then reimburse you.
Compensation will be available for children (up to 23 years old):
- of fallen defenders of Ukraine;
- military personnel with disabilities due to war;
- combat participants;
- missing under special circumstances;
- captured due to armed aggression;
- victims of the Revolution of Dignity.
To receive compensation, you will need:
- ID card or biometric passport in "Diia";
- verified tax number;
- student information in EDEBO and the status of the veteran's child of the appropriate category;
- contractual form of study in 2024/2025.
