Updates on Mobilization Exemption Policies
The Ukrainian government does not intend to make significant changes to the mobilization exemption criteria in the near future.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the "hour of questions to the government" in the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".
"Regarding exemptions. We do not plan any major changes to the criteria and approaches in the near future. They are very clearly outlined, digitized, and extremely transparent," he stated.
The Prime Minister noted that the government, along with the military, closely monitors the exemption process: who is being exempted and in which sectors.
"These criteria meet the needs of both the military and the economy. We do not plan a significant review in the near future," Shmyhal emphasized.
Reminder:
Starting from April 1 only companies that have updated their critical status according to new requirements will be able to continue the exemption process for their specialists. Exemptions granted under the old rules will become invalid.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to the procedure for exempting employees of mobile operators and internet providers.
Additionally, according to the government's decision, the exemption quota for enterprises providing water supply, wastewater management, and waste management services, has been increased from 50% to 75%.
