The Ukrainian delegation held meetings with representatives from four countries during their visit to Turkey to align positions before talks with Russia.
This was reported by Andriy Yermak, the head of the President's Office of Ukraine.
The delegation includes Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, and Yermak, who are currently in Turkey. Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the start of negotiations involving Ukraine, the United States, and Turkey.
According to Yermak, the Ukrainian delegation also met with the U.S. President's Special Representative Keith Kellogg, the British Prime Minister's National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, as well as the French President's Diplomatic Advisor Emmanuel Bonne and the German Chancellor's Foreign Policy and Security Advisor Günter Sauder.
During the meeting, important issues were discussed, and positions were coordinated ahead of the negotiations with the Russian delegation in Istanbul.
"We are ready for peace and a lasting ceasefire without any conditions. The Ukrainian delegation is in Istanbul to achieve an unconditional ceasefire - this is our top priority," Yermak concluded.
