In most regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Transcarpathia, an emergency fire hazard level has been declared from April 29 to May 1.
This information is provided by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
During this period, there will be a high risk of forest and field fires across Ukraine. The most dangerous situation is expected in the central, southern, eastern, and parts of the northern regions.
The emergency (fifth) level of fire hazard imposes a complete ban on open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescuers urge citizens to adhere to fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and not leave smoldering fires in nature.
