Increase in Job Opportunities for Disabled Individuals in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the share of job vacancies for individuals with disabilities has significantly increased from 7% to 12% over the past two years.

This is highlighted in a study conducted by Work.ua.

The number of job offers suitable for disabled individuals has risen from 4,315 in January 2023 to 12,092 in March 2025.

Among the positions available for disabled individuals are: consultant, sales manager, driver, customer relations manager, cashier, accountant, cleaner, loader, call center operator, pharmacist, laborer, cook, and security guard.

Work.ua also analyzed which job vacancies have the highest proportion of offers for disabled individuals:

bank branch specialist (57% of all vacancies for this position are suitable for disabled individuals);

• operational cashier (56%);
• solderer (40%);
• German language instructor (36%);
• Polish language instructor (34%);
• international driver (33%);
• financial consultant (32%).

Additionally, Work.ua analyzed the sectors with the highest share of job vacancies marked "For People with Disabilities":

• Non-profit, charitable, and community organizations — 26%;
• Finance, banking, insurance — 26%;
• Media — 25%;
• Security and protection — 25%;
• Machine engineering — 19%.
