The agency noted that at the Khmelnytskyi NPP, one reactor is on standby for maintenance and refueling, while the output from the second unit was reduced upon the request of the grid operator for 36 hours earlier this week.
At the Rivne NPP, the second block has been put into a maintenance standby mode, and electricity production from the third block was reduced for a few days at the network operator's request.
The South Ukraine NPP also experienced fluctuations in power output this week.
Details: "The IAEA team at the station was informed that on April 17, seven drones were spotted 2 km east of the site, which is a common occurrence during the ongoing conflict".
The teams, especially at the Chernobyl site and the South Ukraine NPP, continue to hear air raid alarms almost daily".
IAEA Director Rafael Grossi reported that agency experts working at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP had to stay home on Wednesday morning after hearing loud gunfire near their office building.
Additionally, Grossi noted that the IAEA team has continued to hear explosions and gunfire from various distances near the station almost daily over the past week.
