New Stamp to Support Ukrzaliznytsia
In order to support Ukrzaliznytsia, which recently faced a large-scale cyberattack, Ukrposhta has introduced a special stamp under the project «Own Stamp».
This was reported by Ukrposhta, as conveyed by the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service.
The new stamp, designed by artist Oleksandr Nikityuk, features the iconic glass in a glass holder — a timeless symbol of train travel. Warm as a summer evening in a compartment and sturdy as the railway tracks — this stamp reminds us that true traditions cannot be broken by any attack.
While each passenger on Ukrzaliznytsia can enjoy a signature glass of tea during their journey, the number of stamps is limited.
100 exclusive sheets featuring the legendary symbol of Ukrzaliznytsia will be randomly distributed among passengers who have submitted supportive messages to the railway workers through feedback forms in the app since its restoration after the cyberattack until the return of tickets lost due to the attack.
Along with each stamp, Ukrzaliznytsia adds a special bonus — 1440 iron embraces. This is the length of the longest railway route — Zaporizhzhia-Uzhhorod.
As a reminder, «embraces» are bonuses that passengers receive for trips when purchasing tickets through the Ukrzaliznytsia app. Thus, more kilometers mean more embraces that can be exchanged for various bonuses and discounts from Ukrzaliznytsia and its partners within the loyalty program «Iron Friends», which will be revived soon.
