Electricity Consumption in Ukraine Continues to Rise

For the third consecutive day, Ukraine is witnessing an increase in electricity consumption.

According to «Ukrenergo», as of 9:30 on April 9, the electricity consumption level was 1.1% higher than the same time the previous day.

The company explained that the reason for this increase is the persistent cold weather with night frosts across Ukraine.

On April 8, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening, which was 2% higher than the maximum of the previous day.

«Today, it is crucial to conserve electricity. Please limit the use of high-power appliances from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM», emphasized «Ukrenergo».

Reminder:

Due to a significant drop in temperature, as of the morning of April 7, electricity consumption exceeded the level of the previous working day, April 4, by 16%.

On April 8, electricity consumption remained high, with the level at 9:30 being 2.3% higher than the same time the previous day.

«Ukrenergo» denied the information regarding the potential return of power outages.
